Dear Mr. Meeks,
My leg is much better. I am going to the Dr. next week to see what has to be done to it. I can walk around the house now without it hurting. I feel better now than I have in 3 or 4 months. I hope it keeps on when I get home and doing the work. Your friend, Grace Miles
(Mr. Meeks was the hired hand on the Mineral Farm for many years. Also she would die in 5 years after this. Elton was living in Orlando at that time so most likely she was staying with him.)
